Myrtle Beach, SC – The hoops fans in the state of South Carolina have much to be excited about with the promising talent of college prospects in the state in class of 2018-2023. These classes carry as many college prospects as any in the state of South Carolina in our 12 years of BIG SHOTS.

BIG SHOTS MYRTLE BEACH Top 100 with ESPN’s Paul Biancardi had several of those players on display. The Providence commit Jimmy Nichols came in as the reigning MVP of the camp, the top player on the Grand Strand and put on a show for the locals. Past MVP’s included Bryce Schneider (Richmond), Justin Busby (USC-Erskine), Desmond Presley (Newberry). Let’s take a look at the 2018 top performers and MVP:

Jimmy Nichols 2018 6’7 PF Conway (SC) / Garner Road | PROVIDENCE COMMIT
Jimmy came into the Big Shots Myrtle Beach Top 100 Paul Biancardi as the reigning MVP and made that a repeat averaging 32 ppg and proving to be a Top 100 talent. At this time last year Jimmy had 1 offer (Longwood); fast forward a year he had over 20+ offers before committing to Providence. The 6’7 lefty forward has a 7’2 wingspan with a pro-style stretch forward game.  Can stroke the 3, put it on the deck and face up game. Superb footwork in the post, excels in a pick & roll/pop and high-low action. Excellent free throw shooter. Scores on left/right hook. The top rebounder/shot blocker in the event; chased down balls to pin it on the glass. The high level prospect is always improving his game; impressed me with his floor game with improved handle and passing skills. Hes only scratching the surface of his potential. Great fit and get by Providence. Big Shots SC No. 3 2018 | Twitter: jimmynichols17

Kendrell Generette 2018 6’1 SG Socastee High School (SC) / Manzer |
When you put up 55 points in Big Shots All American Camp like Kendrell did this year you can fill it up and do it in a hurry. A high motor scoring guard that comes at you and can knock down jumpers. Quick first step, explosive with the ball, relentless pressure on offense and defense. He is a LM/D2 prospect that will find a home and be successful due to his work ethic, motor and shot making ability. Averaged 17 ppg 7 apg. Top 5 overall performer at Big Shots Myrtle Beach Top 100 Paul Biancardi. BIG SHOTS NC 2018 Top 45. Twitter: @kendrellgenere1

Andrew Mosley 2018 6’6 PF South Brunswick (NC) / Flight 22 |
For two consecutive weekends Andrew Mosley was a common name said on the mic on Saturday as the big forward was productive on the glass, converting to points and his motor and game shined. The 6’6 stretch 4 averaged 24 ppg at Big Shots Myrtle Beach Top 100 Paul Biancardi earning all star honors coming off a breakout showing at Southeast Top 100 Paul Bianciardi. Sat a top of the top rebounding column as well. Competes for position inside, plays to strengths, shoots 15′ efficient, active player. D2/D3 programs should be all over. Twitter: @andrewmosley35

Rob Guyton 2018 6’0 PG Christian Academy Myrtle Beach (SC) / Manzer |
Robert was top 5 2018 performer at Big Shots Myrtle Beach Top 100 Paul Biancardi where he averaged 22 ppg. Robert is an energized two-way PG that knows how to play and can play combo due to his ability to shoot the ball. Offensively, a shot maker with a good stroke from 3 and off the dribble. Sees the floor finding cutters and guys in the break. A quick first step able to create off the dribble. Defensively, a shutdown defender that takes pride in guarding other teams top scoring guard. Fearless, confident and coachable. A key contributor on a talented MBCA team. College prospect. BIG SHOTS SC 2018 Top 50. GPA: 3.95. Twitter: robert_guyton

Bryce Ahrens 2018 6’4 SG Hoggard (NC) / Flight 22 |

A Top 10 2018 performer at Big Shots MB Top 100 Paul Biancardi where he averaged 17 ppg (24 pts game 1). Bryce is a 6’4 shooter with length that in our 4 on 4 no dribble session scored just as well as any player due to his ability to move without the ball and using his high IQ. He has a pure release from 3, scored on backdoors, running his lane and putbacks at the rim. Twitter: Bryce_ahrens

Jacob Erickson 2018 6’5 SF Northside (NC) / Flight 22 |
Coming off an undefeated season at Northside, Jacob does all the things that help teams go undefeated with his effort, unselfishness and ability to stretch the floor and make shots. At 6’5 he is versatile stretch forward that understands the game, can’t leave him open for a jumper. An all star at Big Shots SE Top 100 Biancardi averaging 11 ppg continued that play as a standout at MB Top 100 Paul Biancardi averaging 10 ppg. Division 2/Division 3 prospect that will have another big senior season at Northside.

Jason Williams 2018 6’0 PG New Bern Christian Academy (NC) / Flight 22 |

When you play with motor in a camp good things happen. Jason Williams was case in point scoring 23 points in game 1 earning all star honors at Big Shots MB Top 100 Paul Biancardi. Always on the move converting steals and strong drives into points. Pushes tempo, splits gaps, tight handles finished over length. Twitter: @JWill2018
