MONROE, NC — Big Shots Carolina/Paul Biancardi finished up with a hot Sunday of action and an absolutely jam packed four courts at Union Academy Charter School.

The day featured some big-time matchups you can’t see most anywhere else as well as famous N.C. Big Shots alumni coming through.

On the court, national top 25 freshman recruit M.J. Rice (right below) led Team Wall Elite against Team Loaded NC in the 15U Gold championship game. Rice, who usually plays up a class or two, went for 27 points in a 75-72 loss. Loaded got 23 points from point guard Jamori McDougald and 18 from wing Harrison Alexander in a battle of Adidas Gauntlet travel teams.

The Big Shots GA 2020 team not only won the 17U Orange championship but also won a showcase game with Team Loaded NC and top 100 national recruit Josh Hall. Christopher Youngblood had 28 for Big Shots against Loaded. Hall, a 6-8 wing with a deft shooting touch, had 21 for Loaded.

In another anticipated feature game, Team Loaded NC 2020 faced Dennis Smith Elite. Smith, you may remember, helped put the North Carolina portion of Team Loaded on the map four years ago before starring at N.C. State for one year. Sunday, his new team faced his old team. Loaded 17U won 87-69. Lance Anthony, a long-distance bomber, had 17 for DSJ. Jamahri Harvey had 23 for Loaded.
