Big Shots North Carolina Tip-Off (Raleigh, NC)
April 7-8, 2018

Day’Ron Sharpe 2020 6’8 PF South Central (NC)/ Garner Road |
Day’Ron Sharpe is NC’s No. 1 big in 2020, Top 35 nationally and as good as any big in the 2020 class. He was the top overall performer at Big Shots Raleigh NC Top 100 earning 2020 MVP honors averaging 20 ppg making him now a 3x MVP with Garner Road on the Big Shots Circuit 2017. The 5-star 2020 stands at 6’8 pushing 6’9 with a 7’0+ wingspan posseses the qualities I saw in bigs of that caliber with his skill-set. Let’s talk about his 3-level scoring: inside he hits you with the right or left hook with touch, then the power dunks off rebounds, stretches it to 15 feet with face up or fade aways, runs his lane to finish in the break with fluidity and power, and then to see him now shooting the 3 in rhythm at a high rate was even more impressive to see. Defensively, a quick leaper with timing and nose for the ball to block shots with length, keeps it high on rebounds. Plays to his strengths and stars in doing it. @dayron_sharpe

Every time Elbert Ellis laces up in Big Shots he is the guy to watch putting on a show with his elite speed and scoring ability. BIG SHOTS Raleigh NC Top 100 was the same script for El averaging 17 ppg and for the first time in Big Shots Top 100 history he claimed the Dunk Contest and 3 pt Shootout going 13-15 3fg. Chris Lykes and Terrell Rogers are the most recent players of 5’6 or below that has starred in Big Shots. Next in line is DJ Thomas. He may be only 5’5 but he has the heart of a giant and the game and speed to go with it. Named MVP at Big Shots Florida Live 2 for NC Lakers whom he’s led in scoring the last 3 years, DJ continued his star play averaging 11 ppg (16 pts in game 1) earning 2019 All Star honors at Raleigh NC Top 100. Nicknamed ‘Mighty Mouse’ on the mic, DJ is a lefty point guard that plays with gears can hit the 3 off the catch or dribble and has sa knack to get into the paint scoring with floaters and creativity. Like all lefty scorers that have an uncanny ability to use their body to score at the rim. A division 1 talent that consistently produces at a high level on the Big Shots Circuit. A giant killer. Ryan Shaffer 2018 6’5 SG Green Hope (NC) / Big Shots Elite NC |
Big Shots All American had a big year on circuit, MVP Raleigh NC Tip Off, NC Live, ALL STAR: MB Live, CLT Live every event, 16 ppg 5 rpg jr, MVP holiday tourney. Shooter at 6’5 with springs, productive player, knows how to play, shot maker that is highly efficient. When a player is a 3-time MVP on the Big Shots Circuit like Ryan Shaffer was for WCBA, you can flat out play. As a college coach at the NC Top 100 said,”Am I missing something because Ryan Shaffer is really good.” That coach was spot on as the 2018 MVP standing at 6’5 with a springy step, no-dip quick trigger put on a show at Big Shots NC Top 100 once again. High basketball IQ, plays fast, scores coming off screens or off the dribble. Finishes above the rim and through contact. Big Shots All American that is a Division 1 talent and put up big numbers for Green Hope. One of NC’s top available guards. Big Shots NC 2018 Top 40. 11 pts game 1. MVP NC Live (20 ppg) | Ryan is a lengthy shooter that can score 20 a game when hes hot from 3, runs the floor well, smooth in transitition to where he finds the open spot on the floor for easy shots @shaffman22

Jaden Seymour 2020 6’7 SF Northside Christian (NC)/ Team Wall |
Jaden showed his high level talent at Big Shots Southeast Top 100 Paul Biancardi scoring 19 ppg in all areas of the floor in earning 2020 Co-MVP honors. At 6’6 Seymour can put it on the deck, finishes with authority at the rim, active player with length, instincts and skill that will attract high level interest. Defensively a shot blocker that has the footspeed to guard 1-5. A Top 10 NC 2020 prospect that has a bright future. Interest: JMU, Colgate @jaden_seymour
