Fort Mill, SC – In the 5th annual Big Shots SE Top 150 with ESPN’s Paul Biancardi, many of the Southeast’s top talent took center stage. In years’ past MVP’s have included Collin Sexton, Jalek Felton, Devontae Shuler, Clyde Trapp Jr, and Luke Frampton.  Let’s check out the top performers in the 2022 class at Big Shots Southeast Top 150:

2022 All-Stars

MVP: Jalen Hood-Schifino 6’4 PG Northside Christian (NC)/Team Charlotte |

Jalen Hood-Schifino comes in as a top 25 prospect nationally in the 2022 class. Similar to a Jason Kidd type at 6’4 the point guard has a superb feel for the game: elite size, passing, floor game, rebounds, scores. Top passer in camp to go along with 20 ppg scoring 25 points in game 2, 15 points in game 1. Following an MVP performance at Big Shots Southeast Top 150, Jalen received an offer from Florida. Also holds an offer from South Florida.

“Recently invited to USA camp 2022 Jalen Hood Schifino showing why he’s amongst the nation’s elite at Big Shots SE Top 150. At 6’4 his feel for the game at his size and age is special at the PG spot.” -@”BigShotsNation

“Have watched Jalen HoodSchifino several times. Always impressed with his floor game. He controls the ground. Was terrific yesterday . Only 2022.” – @PaulBiancardi

Jalen Hood Schifino

Asa White 6’7 SF Garner (NC)/Team Wall  |

A top forward in NC’s 2022 class.  Has all the tools to bloom into high major talent. Already has a clean jumper with size. Now it is a matter of putting the rest of package together. From the first event of year at HoopState Invitational Asa has been impressive with Team Wall and it was no different at SE Top 150 Paul Biancardi earning 2022 All Star honors. At 6’7 with a 6’10 wingpsan Asa is as versatile as it gets at that age effecting the game in many ways. He has the ability to score inside in the post, off rebounds to drives and even showed his 3-pt stroke knocking down several. Has the instincts to make a play using his length to block shots or shoot over defenders. High motor hits both glass and runs the floor.  Love the path he is on for a bright future.

Tristin Harkins 5’11 SG Pine Forest (NC)/Fayetteville Bulldogs |

Top 3 point shooter in camp. Tristin lit it up at Big Shots Southeast Top 150 with Paul Biancardi hitting seven 3’s in game 1 for 21 points including the game winner. Followed that up with 18 points in game 2, 15 points in game 3 for a total of 14 3’s in 3 games to average 18 ppg. A pure stroke for the 2022 combo guard that can get it off the catch or dribble. Can be the prime ball handler with high IQ, tight handle and fundamentally sound game. A breakout performer at the camp that caught my eye in skills session with his jumper and footwork. Last year at this camp we had Deacon Heath who signed with UNC Asheville named the top shooter in camp. Tristin has that type of jumper. Big Shots NC 2022 Watchlist.

Davis Molnar 6’5 SF Terry Sanford (NC)/Team Wall |

Amongst the elite versatile wings in NC’s 2022 class. Davis made a statement at the Big Shots North Carolina Tip-Off back in April with Team Wall with his scoring and shooting ability at 6’5. His game is advanced being a coach’s son he’s very fundamentally sound in his approach to the game letting the game come to him and making the right read time and time again. Sometimes at camps the extra pass, team player guy may go unnoticed but not at Big Shots and it was obvious that’s one of the characteristics that will make Davis a high level prospect. He averaged 13 ppg at Big Shots Southeast Top 150 Paul Biancardi scoring at all 3-levels on the floor and has the floor game and feel that will attract Division 1 interest very soon into his high school career.

Luke Bracey 6’5 F Rock Hill (SC)/Team Loaded NC |

Not just because he has the same first name, Luke Bracey reminds me of Luke Maye with his motor and inside-out game.  Luke is a left handed post player with solid post moves, a go-to lefty hook mixed with the ability to stretch the floor hitting the mid range shot. Starring for Team Loaded NC on the circuit, Bracey gets into “Beast Mode” when he hits the offensive and defensive glass becoming a load to stop inside. He’s played on varsity since 8th grade, also stars in football. He came in ranked as a top big to watch in Big Shots SC’s 2022 class and is on track to be that throughout his high school career.

Barry Hardy G Blythewood (SC)/Carolina Cavs |

An active wing that converts at the rim. Barry averaged 11 ppg at Big Shots Southeast Top 150 Paul Biancardi scoring on blow by drives and in transition. Solid mid-range game in skill session. Competes on the glass for his position. As an evaluator you look at many traits in a player, including family genes and that is one of many qualities Barry Hardy has going for him and shows for a bright future. His dad Barry “High Rise” Hardy had a 48 inch vert and coach the Harlem Globetrotters for many years. The younger Hardy carries a high basketball IQ being a coach’s son that plays with effort and knows where to be, when to be there to make a play. Like his upside, joins Big Shots SC 2022 Watchlist.

BJ Morris 6’3 G/F West Forsyth (NC) |

BJ is a competitor at both ends of the floor. A top rebounder in camp in the 2022 class. Morris does most of his damage in the paint and rebounds everything around him using his athleticism. He’s expanded his game to handle the ball in transition and play inside-out where he can create a matchup against most 4-men using his speed. At Big Shots Southeast Top 150 he averaged 11 ppg earning 2022 all star honors.

The McLean brothers know how to score. Similar to his older brother 2020 Zavian, Zykimus knows how to the ball into the hole scoring at all 3-levels earning all star honors at Big Shots Southeast Top 150 Paul Biancardi. A combo guard that can be the prime ball handler and facilitator for his team and also move off the ball with his ability to shoot and score. Has a smooth stroke off the catch from 3. Plays with toughest as a two-way player. Big Shots NC 2022 Watchlist.

Marcus Kell 6’3 SF Nation Ford (SC)/Fort Mill Knicks |
