Fort Mill, SC – In the 5th annual Big Shots SE Top 150 with ESPN’s Paul Biancardi, many of the Southeast’s top talent took center stage. In years’ past MVP’s have included Collin Sexton, Jalek Felton, Devontae Shuler, Clyde Trapp Jr. and Luke Frampton. Let’s check out the top performers in the 2020 class at Big Shots Southeast Top 150:
MVP: Jaden Seymour 6’8 SF Northside Christian (NC)/Team Wall | North Carolina’s biggest sleeper in 2020…not anymore! The first word that comes to mind with Seymour is versatility. High major versatility. Seymour displayed his athleticism winning the Big Shots Southeast Top 150 with ESPN’s Paul Biancardi Dunk Contest. He measured out with a 7’0 wingspan and utilized this with many big time blocks in 5-on-5 play. Seymour showed the ability to grab the rebound and bring the ball up the court to initiate offense. He even was the primary ball-handler many times in pick-and-rolls within the half court offense. He showed the ability to make one dribble off the wing and finish above the rim. Defensively, Seymour can guard multiple positions. For the second consecutive year Jaden has come in and earned MVP honors and left us leaving saying that he has pro upside. Currently holds an offer from South Florida and interest from several other high major programs. Ranks in Big Shots NC Top 10 2020 as one of the state’s top wings.
Zavian McLean 6’4 G Village Christian (NC)/Team Wall | Purpose is one of the 5 P’s I cover with the players prior to start of camp. Well the one player that absorbed that the most was Zavian McLean with the purpose to dominant whoever was in front of him and he did just that. As Paul Biancardi stated,”he’s the hardest playing player in this gym.” Recently reclassed 2020 guard scored 31 points in game 1, 22 points in game to average 27 ppg for the camp. One of NC’s biggest sleepers and top 5 combo guards in 2020. Zavian is a 6’4 lefty combo guard that plays with passion, energy that is contagious. He is a winner that starred for Team Wall Elite on the Big Shots Circuit that will do what it takes to win. Using length, handle and speed Zavian lives in the paint and can rise up on you at the rim. A 3-level scorer efficient stroke from 3 and mid-range with athleticism and body control when attacking the glass and finishing with ease. He can shoot the three but his strengths are attacking the rim, finishing through contact and creating his own jumpshot. To add to the O, Zavian is one of NC’s top on-ball defenders that takes pride in shutting you down. BIG SHOTS NC Top 15 2020. Twitter: @_11god

One of my favorite guards in North Carolina’s 2020 class because you win with him! After a big circuit season including several 40 point outings at Big Shots with Team Synergy, Anderson collected offers from Robert Morris and USC Upstate. Started on one of NC’s top teams in North Meck as a sophomore and will look to build on that in more a starring role in his junior season. Anderson is another combo guard who can be the primary ball-handler or play off the ball. He can truly score from all three levels on the court and explode with a flush at the rim.
